Are you pet-friendly?
Yes, we are! Our apartments are pet-friendly to both dogs and cats. We do have a limit of 2 pets per apartment. A monthly fee of $50 per pet is assessed to your resident account. There is also a one-time non-refundable pet fee of $500 due at move-in.
Do you have breed restrictions for dogs?
As of April 18, 2022, we no longer have breed restrictions.
Are you close to the metro?
Yes, we are! We are within a 5-minute walk to both the Ballston and Virginia Square Metro Stations. You are able to check train times directly through the WMATA (Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority) website.
What are the concierge hours?
Our Concierge / Office Desk Attendants are available Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 9:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Sunday 11:00 am - 5:00 pm. They can assist with package pick-up and other questions that you might have.
What are your prices?
Our community features one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans with a variety of layouts to match your needs. Our rents may change daily, so for the most up-to-date pricing, we recommend that you check availability on the floor plan page. Additionally, we do have a $50 per application fee and $250 holding fee to reserve your new home.
Are utilities included in my rent?
Residents are responsible for the following utilities: water, trash (flat monthly fee of $15), sewer, electricity, and gas.
What are the fitness center hours?
It is easy to stay fit at Ballston Park. The fitness center is open Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 9:00pm, Saturday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Sunday 11:00 am - 5:00 pm. We also have acres of sidewalks and open green space if walking is part of your fitness routine.
Is there street parking?
Yes, there is limited street parking. You can parallel park on one of the streets in our community without a guest pass. Striped parking spaces are parking by permit only. Please be mindful of the street signs and only park in those areas that are NOT designated as permit parking only. We don't want any visitors to our community to have their vehicles towed so please be mindful of the parking signs.
Is there guest parking?
Guest parking is available. There is limited street parking that does not require a guest permit. For those wishing to park in one of our resident-only lots, a guest parking permit is required. A guest parking permit can be obtained from the Management Office during regular business hours. You will be asked to provide the car's license plate number, color, make, and model of the guest vehicle, as well as a contact phone number.
Is there grocery shopping nearby?
Yes, we are within walking distance from Harris Teeter, Target, and a local produce store, The Glebe Market. In addition, you will find that services, such as Instacart, are easy to use in our area if you don't have the time to do your shopping and would rather have it delivered.
Can I reserve the clubhouse?
Yes, you are able to reserve the clubhouse. There is a $250 holding fee that is refundable if there are no damages, and the clubhouse is cleaned up after. The rental can only be during office hours Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 9:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Sunday 11:00 am - 5:00 pm.
How can I get my packages?
Packages that are centrally delivered to the Management Office can be picked up during hours when the office front desk is attended. Those hours are Monday- Friday 9:00 am - 9:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Sunday 11:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Is there dry-cleaning in the building?
There is no dry-cleaning onsite, but we have two cleaners within a mile of the property Rainbow Cleaners and Continental Valet.
How far are you from National Airport?
Ballston Park is conveniently located just 8 miles from the National Airport.
Can I pay my rent online?
Paying rent online is easy! Go to www.ballstonpark.com, then go to the resident tab, select pay rent, then login into the resident portal to make a payment. If you do not have an account, it is easy to create one. Simply follow the directions on the website in the resident portal. Payments can be made via echeck as a recurring payment (free), or with a one-time echeck (fees apply), or payment can be made with a credit card (fees apply).
Are there restaurants and bars nearby?
We are just steps from a number of restaurants and bars. El Paso, one of our favorites, is a 3 minute walk from the property. There is a broad array of diverse restaurants within a 1 mile radius of the property and if you feel like driving, hopping in an Uber or on the metro you'll find an almost unlimited supply of restaurants within close proximity of the property.
What are your office hours?
Our office is open to both current and future residents Monday - Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturdays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday 11 am to 5 pm. You can also view available floor plans, community amenities, and access other community information on our website 24/7.
What credit type or scores are acceptable?
The credit evaluation system that we use as a part of the application process takes numerous factors into account and so there's not a type or score that we can share with you
How do I submit maintenance requests?
Maintenance requests can be submitted in the resident portal on the property website. Residents can log onto www.ballstonpark.com, go to the resident tab, log into the resident portal. Once logged into the resident portal, there is a work order tab on the left-hand side. Alternatively, we are always happy to accept calls for work orders in the Management Office.
